Glimmer Train named a story as an Honorable Mention in the November 2012 Short Story Awards for New Writers - January 22, 2013.


--”Mermaids” won first prize in The 2011 Roanoke Review Fiction Contest - published in 2012 Roanoke Review, vol. xxxvii, September 2012, and was nominated for Best American short stories, O’Henry Awards and a Pushcart Prize.  To be nominated is an honor. thanks to the roanoke review.
